Having made the decision to leave our home of 41 years in South Windsor, our goal was to find a value-priced, quality home in a location surrounded by nature that would offer future growth in value. We found the perfect home in Timberland’s Willow Ridge community.
This small development is located adjacent to Brunet Park and next to the LaSalle Recreational Trail. We can follow the trail for a few minutes to either the quiet of Brunet Park or to the local restaurants, boutiques and services of Malden Road, with additional woodlands just beyond.
Our new home offers the quality we expected and is surprisingly energy efficient. We appreciate having the privacy and freedom of our own individual home but still with the convenience of maintenance-free living. For us, it is the best of both worlds and our neighbours are wonderful.
The unexpected bonus was meeting Gino and Teresa from Timberland. With Gino, we would be hard-pressed to find a developer who is more hands-on. He is constantly on-site directing tradesman and ensuring quality. Teresa is also on-site and readily accessible and effectively manages any concerns. Although in our first year there have been minimal new-construction issues, each one has been dealt with promptly and to our satisfaction.
We would not hesitate to recommend Timberland to our friends.

Our return to La Salle from the Durham area was never a question for Greg and I. The concern was where were we going to build our new home. First and foremost, we were looking for proximity to our daughters and our family. We were also entering a stage in our life where we hoped to have responsibilities such as grass cutting and snow removal taken from us to give us extra time for local recreational activities and to provide us with the ability to enjoy worry free travel.
Timberland's "Willowridge" was promoting a residential development at this time. Two streets of individual homes were to be built in in the Brunett Park area. The first newly constructed model captivated our interest. Quality materials, an excellent floor plan and a basement that could be designed for our needs soon led us to regard this area as a very possible option. Each home was to built with a very spacious rear porch- a real plus for those warm summer days.
Our vision became a reality when we finally sold our Whitby two- story home and moved to our present location, situated across from the popular walking trail and close to Brunett Park. Thanks to Gino, our Timberland builder, and Teresa, our present sales and customer service manager, our level of satisfaction remains far above expectation. This highly professional team exemplifies customer satisfaction and offers continued service and support. Timberland’s homes offer comfort within the quality and in the careful design of each room and within each tiny detail. All material choices presented to the buyer are superior and are supported by reputable manufacturers.
These spacious homes offer executive living, with the nearby amenities of a small town. Take a short walk and you will visit grocery and, drug stores, medical and dental clinics and a library, just to mention a few of nearby services offered to area residents. Take a short car trip and you will access superior golf courses, a newly built athletic complex, a university where seniors over 60 enjoy free tuition, and the best of outlet and mall shopping. Take a trip over the bridge and a wealth of additional choice awaits you.
Finally, this most southerly location of Canada supports a long growing season, an abundance of wineries and the ideal “warmth” to start you on your trip into a Willowridge retirement experience. This is living at its' best. Why wait?

The building of our Timberland home was surprisingly a very easy undertaking-no headaches, no horror stories and no hidden expenses. Gino and Teresa were with us every step of the way to help us with our concerns. We are now the proud owners of a quality built home in a fine neighbourhood.

What can we say about our new home located in Willowridge? Wow! We absolutely love it!
We had been looking to relocate in the Windsor region and had spent a lot of time driving around trying to decide what area might be a good fit for us. By accident one Sunday we discovered an open house in a new development by Timberland Contractors. The moment we opened the door and stepped inside this incredibly appointed model home we knew we were done looking any further-we were home!
We had been through several other model homes by other builders but the very obvious quality workmanship and attention to details in this home were superior by far! If we were to have built this home ourselves there is not one thing we would have changed right down to the choices of colours and fixtures.
What can we say about the location?-Love it, love it, love it. (Did we mention how much we love this location????) We must say to each other at least once a week how lucky we were to find this model home open that Sunday afternoon. With the LaSalle trails all around us, we sometimes fell like we are in our own private woods. We often see deer and we love to watch what we refer to as the “puppy parade”, as people with their dogs in tow take advantage of the beautifully maintained walking trails.
We are less that 10 minutes from the Ambassador Bridge, the 401, the Windsor downtown area as well as Devonshire Mall, Windsor Crossings Outlet and the Big Box stores located on Walker Road. The Detroit airport is only about 30 minutes away. There are numerous golf courses in the immediate area as well as a new recreation facility that has an indoor pool. We are within walking distance to doctors, dentists, grocery stores, drug stores, gyms-the list just goes on and on.
And, almost best of all, we now have more time to enjoy all of this because someone else cuts the grass and shovels the snow!
Thank-you Gino, Teresa and the rest of the Timberland Team
